INTRACK

INTRACK is the latest addition to the Logistical Software suite of products. INTRACK is a solution that brings transparency and accountability to supply chain addressing many of the critical issues that the container shipping industry has to contend with.

Lack of information, bottlenecks, untimely delays and supply chain disruption are challenges that those involved in the shipment of containers have to overcome to effectively manage the complex demands of the modern Import/Export Industry. Organisations ranging from multi-nationals to local enterprises can adversely affect their products by not having the basic information readily available to answer the supply chain questions.

INTRACK provides a unique and innovative answer to these issues by incorporating information from the Clients or Suppliers Management Systems, and allowing their integration with external reporting mechanisms. It then imports data from third party providers of required information and allows opportunity for better management of the entire supply chain.

Initially, in partnership with Inttra and based upon a study of integrity (a European commission report on door-to-door container supply chain visibility) Logistical Software developed IN-TOOL our own desk top or server based EDI solution. As an EDI agent we now transmit container booking requests and shipping instructions to all the ocean container carriers either directly to the shipping lines (if more cost-effective for you )or via Inttra

INTRACK has the capability of displaying the data of all containers booked and shipped, whether using the software application or data from another source. INTRACK receives container status updates from INTTRA-aligned ocean carriers or by utilising vessel departure and arrival data gained from mandatory AIS data, applying our own innovative algorithms created from AIS data and matching vessels to containers.

INTRACK's versatility allows for administrators to define access to internal staff and, if required, external stakeholders, restricting fields of information through password controls to authorised users. INTRACK enables third party access (such as agents) and data input for additional fields where required, this functionality allows for even more visibility as other stakeholders, such as agents, customers or consignees can add data or view information as required.
